In UV printing, the press is never the bottleneck — the cure is. Ink that has not fully cross-linked smears on the take-up roller, and every extra second under the lamp is a second of throughput lost. That is why the industry moved from mercury vapour to UV LED, and why the LED application scenarios worth watching in 2026 all sit downstream of one number: irradiance at the substrate. For most narrow-format and industrial curing lines, the component behind that number is the 10W 6565 UVA LED at 365 nm.
The UVA 6565 SMD LED is a 6.5 × 6.5 × 4.6 mm ceramic package built for continuous high-power operation. At the 1,400 mA test condition it dissipates 8–10 W with a forward voltage of 5–8 V, covers 365–415 nm across the 6565 and 6868 platforms, and holds a 120° beam that couples predictably into collimating optics or a quartz light guide. The ceramics carry the heat, which is what keeps irradiance stable over an eight-hour shift instead of sagging as the die warms.

| Lifespan | 50,000 hours |
| Packing / MOQ / lead time | 800 pcs per bag; MOQ 100 pcs; 7–15 days |
| Wavelength | Penetration | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 365 nm | Shallow | Surface-cure inks, clear coatings, fluorescence inspection |
| 385 nm | Medium | Pigmented inks, thicker adhesive beads |
| 395 / 405 nm | Deeper | White and heavy-pigment inks, through-cure of milky resins |
Shorter wavelengths carry more photon energy, so 365 nm breaks photoinitiators open faster at the surface — the layer that actually determines whether ink smears. Deeper-pigment systems still need 395 or 405 nm to reach the bottom of the film, which is why the same 6565 platform is binned across all four wavelengths: one footprint, one thermal design, four cure profiles.
The 6565 UVA series is produced by Dongguan Lanjin Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., an LED manufacturer founded in 2005 with a 2,500 m² plant in Dongguan, Guangdong. Eighteen years of SMD packaging experience sits behind the line: ISO 9001:2015 quality management, a purified anti-static workshop, two national invention patents, twelve utility model patents, 99.9% gold wire bonding, monthly capacity of 200–500KK pieces and an 80–90% export customer base. The wider catalogue covers top and side view SMD LED, bi-color and RGB SMD LED, IR and UVC chips, through hole LED, 7-segment displays and high power LED chips, all RoHS and REACH compliant.
For curing integrators the useful part is flexibility: wavelength binning, a matched set of emitters for an array head, or a lower MOQ for pilot builds — 100 pieces is enough to qualify a lens design before a production order. LED lights the world, Lanjin lights your life.
Buyer note: when comparing UV LED quotes, put four numbers side by side — measured irradiance at your working distance, wavelength bin tolerance, junction temperature at rated drive, and lumen maintenance at 1,000 hours. Peak wattage on a catalogue page cures nothing.
